About Us

Rochester Laundry Solutions (RLS) was founded and is owned by Mike Mancuso. Mike has extensive business experience in manufacturing, insurance and the laundry industries. He started his first business as a manufacturer representative after graduating from college and became a top salesman for his family’s manufacturing business.

Mike then started an independent insurance brokerage and built a significant book of business in the employee benefits space. He eventually merged his business with a Top 40 National Broker, built that business into another multi-million dollar entity and became the youngest Partner at the firm.

While continuing his insurance career he decided to purchase his first laundromat nearly ten years ago from a friend as a side business. Soon after learning the business Mike grew the Rochester, NY based company from one retail location into six laundromats and built the largest wash and fold business in town.

Based on this extensive experience Mike saw a need to help entrepreneurs in the laundromat space so he started RLS. Mike is much more than simply a distributor of laundry equipment as he is also a trusted advisor that can help laundromat owners with understanding how to start and operate a successful laundromat.
